Area teachers earn National Board Certification

Five area teachers recently earned National Board Certification. Congratulations to Cynthia Borske of Nashua-Plainfield; Kari Brown of Osage; Jennifer Miller of Allison-Bristow; Meg Schutjer of Osage; and Jeffrey Teske of GMG.

Iowa currently ranks 22nd in the nation for the number of teachers who have achieved certification, with a total of 664 teachers currently certified. Three school districts had more than one teacher earn certification–one of which is Osage Community School District who had two teachers certified this year.

Congratulations to these educators for taking this important step in their careers! Let them know how proud you are of their efforts.
