Do you know a student who’s made big strides in their learning or reached a milestone thanks to the support you or your team provided? How about a teacher, administrator, district or building team that’s moving forward due to your influence? Maybe you’ve made an impact with a family or in the community? We’d love to share their story as a way to highlight Central Rivers AEA services and the powerful results they lead to.

There was a student in our program that dreamed of joining the service after he graduated from High School. After hearing a guest Sergeant speak about the military, the requirements and benefits, this student worked extra hard at getting fit and preparing himself. He ran, he worked hard on his academics, prepared his application paperwork (with much staff assistance) and completed 6 credits while with us. He was inducted in the Army National Guard while still in our program. A staff was able to watch the induction and shared the picture from that day with us. He is currently finishing his senior year outside of our program and will then deploy!
What an amazing story and testament to the powerful impact of our staff! This sounds like it would make a great success story for a larger audience. Communications will be in touch with you, Cheri!
